We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Stock Auditor

Location: Abuja

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Stock Auditor to oversee and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accountability of inventory across our operations.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regular stock audits, identifying discrepancies, and implementing controls to minimize inventory losses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and surprise stock audits across warehouses, depots, and retail locations
  • Verify physical inventory against system records and investigate discrepancies
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting variances, root causes, and recommendations
  • Monitor inventory movement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with warehouse, finance, and operations teams to resolve stock issues
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of stock transactions
  • Identify risks related to inventory handling and recommend control measures
  • Support periodic stock counts (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
  • Track slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock and report accordingly
  • Ensure adherence to internal audit standards and inventory management best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in stock auditing, inventory control, or internal audit (2–5 years preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
  • Strong integrity and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and reporting skills
