Job Title: Private Chef

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• A private residence in Abuja is seeking a skilled and experienced Private Chef who can prepare both continental and Nigerian local dishes.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily meal preparation, kitchen management, menu planning, and maintaining high food hygiene standards.

What You Will Do

• Prepare continental and Nigerian local dishes daily
• Plan weekly and monthly meal menus
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Ensure proper food storage and inventory management
• Shop for fresh ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Prepare meals according to dietary preferences
• Ensure quality food presentation and timely service
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils properly
• Develop new meal ideas and recipes
• Manage portion control and food waste effectively

Who You Are

• Requirement: Must have attended a Culinary School
• Experienced Private Chef with strong cooking skills
• Must have attended a recognized Culinary School
• Minimum of 4–6 years experience as a chef or private cook
• Experience in hospitality, restaurants, or private homes preferred
• Skilled in both continental and local cuisine preparation
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work independently and professionally
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
