Job Responsibilities
Deal origination and execution:

  • Prepare high quality comprehensive financial models and investment memos to support the company’s understanding of new investment and business opportunities.
  • Support due diligence of investment opportunities and manage various stakeholders on the transactions.
  • Prepare relevant internal and external documents required to inform relevant stakeholders on the investment opportunities.
  • Support transaction execution workstreams as required.

Portfolio Management:

  • Provide competitive analysis on portfolio companies’ market offerings and stay updated on market trends
  • Provide financial advisory support to portfolio companies where required.
  • Develop and maintain investment models, portfolio data, and supporting analytics.
  • Collate, review and query portfolio companies’ monthly management accounts.

Strategy Review and Developemnt:

  • Assist in the development and review of strategy for the Company and its portfolio companies.
  • Support the review of annual budgets and medium to long-term plans.
  • Champion agreed strategies at the Company and portfolio level.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with concentrations in highly analytical fields such as Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Post-graduate qualification, Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Financial Analyst designation is an added advantage.
  • Outstanding academic record.
  • 4-5 years of work experience, particularly in research, capital-raising, origination, executing, and monitoring of investments.
  • Ability to develop complex financial models, perform financial analysis, company valuations, and comparable company analyses.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures.
  • Strong project and time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
