Job Title: CO2 Plant Engineer
Locations: Ogun & Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise CO2 plant equipment and production processes.
- Monitor plant parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rates, and gas purity.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of compressors, pumps, refrigeration systems, pipelines, and control systems.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with environmental and industrial regulations.
- Analyze operational data and recommend process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, technicians, and operators during plant shutdowns and repairs.
- Prepare operational reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
- Respond to equipment failures and emergency situations promptly.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment when required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in industrial gas plants, manufacturing, oil & gas, or processing facilities.
- Knowledge of compressors, refrigeration systems, pumps, PLC/control systems, and industrial safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in shift operations if required.
