Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to maintain a clean, tidy, and organized home environment.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, light laundry, and general upkeep of the house, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic living space for the household.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and dust all rooms, including bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and bath areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly, including tiles, rugs, and carpets.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
• Change bed linens, wash, dry, and fold laundry as required.
• Wash dishes, keep the kitchen clean, and help with basic kitchen tidying.
• Empty trash bins and replace trash bags throughout the house.
• Tidy and organize shelves, cupboards, and storage areas.
• Report any damages, leaking fixtures, or maintenance issues to the employer promptly.
• Follow basic safety and hygiene practices when using cleaning products and equipment.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Previous experience as a housekeeper or domestic helper.
• Good knowledge of household cleaning procedures and products.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage time well.
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift light to moderate loads (e.g., laundry, cleaning supplies).
• Trustworthy, honest, and respectful of the family’s privacy.
• Basic understanding of English (spoken and written) is an advantage.
• Availability to work weekdays, with possible flexibility on weekends if required.
