We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Assistant – Well Test Operation

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Assistant with strong hands-on knowledge of Well Test Operations to support operational planning, field execution, reporting, and coordination activities within our oil and gas operations team.
  • The ideal candidate must possess solid industry experience and a practical understanding of well testing processes, equipment, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and operational support for well test operations.
  • Coordinate field activities and support operational execution.
  • Monitor operational parameters and ensure equipment readiness.
  • Prepare operational reports, field documentation, and technical updates.
  • Support troubleshooting activities during operations.
  • Liaise with field personnel, engineers, clients, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Support mobilization, demobilization, and logistics coordination.
  • Maintain records of equipment performance and operational activities.
  • Participate in operational planning and technical review meetings.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc. in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Well Test Operations or related oilfield operations.
  • Strong understanding of well testing processes, equipment, and field operations.
  • Experience supporting offshore and/or onshore operations.
  • Good operational reporting and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and operational reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and support multiple operational activities.
  • Candidate should reside in Port Harcourt or be willing to relocate.

Added Advantage:

  • Experience working with oil servicing companies.
  • Strong HSE knowledge and operational compliance background.
  • Previous supervisory or coordination exposure.
