We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Technician - Electrician
Location: Niger
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Install, inspect, and repair wiring, motors, lighting systems, control panels, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs promptly.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance and report abnormalities.
- Assist in maintaining generators, transformers, switchgears, and distribution systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
- Carry out lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before maintenance activities.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping in electrical workshops and work areas.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns during assigned shifts.
- Use electrical tools and testing instruments safely and effectively.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce equipment downtime.
