TAAS Group of School is a school made up of Nursery, Primary and Secondary school. The school's academic programme is divided into two sections: Quran and Arabic section which is handled by specific teachers and the western Educational section handle by different teachers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Primary Boarding, Welfare & Transport Coordinator

Location: Oyo

Role Purpose

  • Oversee the daily welfare, safety, discipline, and routine care of primary boarding pupils.
  • Ensure a structured, safe, and supportive boarding environment.
  • Coordinate boarding life, academics support, and accompanies upils via bus to the school.
  • Supports in either Welfare or Academic unit.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily routines: wake-up, grooming, meals, prayers, bedtime.
  • Ensure pupils are well-dressed, clean, disciplined, and supervised.
  • Monitor pupils’ health, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour.
  • Oversee homework, prep time, and study sessions.
  • Coordinate school bus pick-up and drop-off operations and parent communication.
  • Conduct roll calls and headcounts daily.
  • Maintain hostel cleanliness, order, and safety compliance.
  • Support welfare unit in hostel administration and operations and Academics uunit as well.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hostel inspections (rooms, hygiene, safety).
  • Submit welfare, discipline, attendance, and health reports.
  • Hold staff coordination meetings.
  • Facilitate recreational, extracurricular, and life-skill activities.
  • Communicate updates to parents through school management.

Termly Responsibilities:

  • Submit comprehensive pupil welfare and discipline reports.
  • Organise boarding events and developmental activities.
  • Support academic progress review with teachers.
  • Conduct safety / fire drills and hostel evaluations.

Annual Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review boarding welfare systems and SOPs.
  • Produce end-of-session operational report.
  • Recommend improvements in facilities and welfare systems.
  • Support transition of pupils between primary and secondary boarding.
