Job Title: Senior Treasury & Financial Control Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary 

• Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Treasury & Financial Control Officer to oversee treasury operations, liquidity management, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, sound financial judgment, and hands-on experience in treasury management within the banking or fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations and cash flow activities
• Monitor liquidity positions and funding requirements
• Prepare treasury and financial control reports
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory standards
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor transactions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Liaise with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Support investment and fund management activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or ICAN is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in treasury, financial control, or banking operations
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and treasury management
• Proficiency in financial reporting and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience within a digital bank or fintech environment is preferred.
