Job Purpose
- The Business Development Manager (Healthcare) will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting healthcare solutions.
- The role involves identifying and developing leads, converting opportunities into revenue, and ensuring sustainable and profitable growth while maintaining strong market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, HMOs, and healthcare providers for the sales of health equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Promote healthcare solutions/services and convert leads into revenue.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and bids.
- Conduct market research and track competitor activities.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM records.
- Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets within the territory.
- Manage key accounts and ensure client retention and satisfaction.
- Identify new partnerships, channels, and growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking forums.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in business development or sales within the healthcare sector.
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven track record in healthcare sales, partnerships, or client acquisition.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and market dynamics.
- Experience in solution selling and key account management.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
- Ability to build and maintain high-value relationships.
- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. High level of commercial awareness and business acumen.
