Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is a leading Non-Governmental and Not-for-Profit Organization established in 1989 by two eminent and reputable Nigerians who are the most prominent advocates of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Family Planning (FP) programming in Nigeria. ARFH, a Nigerian fully indigenous, Non- Governmental, and Not-for-Profit organization had implemented projects across the 36+1 states of Nigeria on cross cutting programs including Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health plus Nutrition Investment Case (RMNCAH+N), Family Planning (FP), Global fund grants on HIV, TB and Malaria as Prime & Sub recipient, USAID grants on Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) among others.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Lead

Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of the project’s MEL system.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in tracking project performance, measuring impact, strengthening data use, and supporting evidence-based decision-making across project activities.
  • The MEL Lead will work closely with project teams, government stakeholders, and partners to ensure high-quality data management, compliance with donor requirements, and continuous learning for program improvement.

Specific Responsibilities
The MEL Lead will:

  • Develop and manage the project MEL Plan, Dashboards, and Data Collection Tools
  • Conduct data analysis, learning reviews and support evidence use for decision-making
  • Build the capacity of LGA teams and partners on data quality and use
  • Lead reporting against USG indicators and contribute to documentation of best practices
  • Ensure adherence to donor MEL frameworks, organizational standards, and national reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Statistics or related field
  • Proficiency in DHIS2, SPSS/Stata/R, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with immunization and MNCH+N data preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Health advocacy, policy engagement, or partnerships.
