Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst

Description

  • The Financial Planning and controlling Analyst is a critical role in business success, and acts as a service provider to Finance Business Partners and Senior management by performing financial forecasting, scenario planning and providing in-depth financial analysis for strategic and tactical decision-making

Responsibilities
Net Revenue Management and EBIT management:

  • Liaise with commercial finance on hero SKU performance to ensure the planned volume is achieved.
  • Conduct monthly TB review to understand the driver of the result to achieve the planned EBIT.
  • Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance.
  • Enhancing profitability through monthly gross profit review and driving to ensure a profitable mix is delivered monthly.
  • Align CBC calculations with the intercompany counterpart to ensure impact on local numbers is well protected and managed.

Actual:

  • Monitor and control SG&A expenses across all cost centres to ensure spending remains within, or below, the approved Budget and Business Plan (BP).
  • Perform detailed variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior year) to identify drivers of deviations, provide explanations, and recommend corrective actions to improve future performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and alignment between SAP postings and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) by validating accuracy and completeness of all financial entries.
  • Deliver all Month-End Closing (MEC) activities accurately, on time, and in full, including submission of HFM reports.

Free Cash Flow Management:

  • Foster close collaboration with each unit to analyses FCF elements, model review and operation results to understand FCF performance better.

People Management - (main results to deliver to achieve its purpose). Finance & Commercial:

  • Drive business value through engagement with finance business stakeholders via the Monthly KPI session and the monthly business performance report for Nigeria.
