We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Auditor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and evaluate financial/operational processes
- Review financial records, transactions, and internal control systems
- Identify risks, irregularities, and areas for process improvement
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit standards
- Monitor inventory, procurement, payroll, and operational activities for compliance
- Support external audit exercises and regulatory inspections
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional certification is an added advantage
- 4–6 years relevant audit/accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software
- Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills
- Must be detail-oriented, confidential, and highly organized.
