Job Title: Store Officer

Job Overview
- The Store Officer at Jawa International Limited is responsible for managing and controlling all store activities in pharmaceutical manufacturing to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and proper inventory management.
- This role focuses on receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies while ensuring product quality, traceability, and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all store operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure proper documentation and verification of incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate stock records using bin cards, stock ledgers, and ERP/systems.
- Perform regular stock counts (physical inventory) and reconcile with system records.
- Ensure materials are stored according to GMP requirements (proper labeling, segregation, FEFO/ FIFO principle, controlled temperature/humidity where applicable).
- Issue materials to production as per Material Requisition Notes (MRN) and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and raise timely reorder requests to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
- Identify and report any damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials to the relevant departments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse/store environment in line with GMP standards.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and traceability of all stored materials.
- Participate in root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, and Procurement teams for smooth material flow.
- Perform line clearance and return of unused materials after production batches.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate stock records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including NAFDAC and GMP guidelines for warehousing.
- Maintain proper documentation in Material Management Records and logbooks.
Qualifications
Education:
- B.Sc./HND in any of the following: Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Physical Sciences, or related fields.
Experience:
- Experienced or inexperienced candidates with good knowledge of store management and inventory control will be considered.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory management principles with respect to Tally and SAP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
