We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance & Operations Intern
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Internship
Internship Duration: 6 months
Reporting to: Finance Controller
Role Summary
- The Finance & Operations Intern will support day-to-day financial management, operational coordination and procurement processes within All On. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands on experience in a mission driven impact investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Support:
- Assist with preparation of monthly and program based financial reports and dashboards.
- Support budget tracking and variance analysis across key business areas (investments, Hub and grant teams).
- Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment schedules.
- Support month end reporting processes, including preparation of journals and reconciliation.
- Assist with accounts payables and receivable tracking.
- Support compliance and audit preparation activities when required.
Procurement Support:
- Assist in the All On procurement process from requisition, through vendor selection until contract documentation.
- Support preparation of Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and bid analysis.
- Maintain accurate vendor database and documentation.
- Support compliance with internal and funder-specific procurement policies.
Operations Support:
- Support daily operational activities to ensure efficient workflows and processes.
- Help organise meetings, prepare minutes, and coordinate logistics for events.
- Provide general administrative assistance across teams, including filing, correspondence, and document management.
- Work with different departments to gather and organise relevant data for reporting and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Recently completed a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively across teams.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-oriented organisation.
