Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to join our healthcare team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare quality standards, improving patient care processes, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives across the hospital.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Conduct routine quality audits across clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement programs and initiatives.
- Review incident reports, patient complaints, and service gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Track key quality indicators and prepare periodic quality assurance reports.
- Coordinate accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
- Support infection prevention, patient safety, and risk management initiatives.
- Conduct staff training and sensitization on quality standards and best practices.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with department heads to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, patient safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional certifications in Quality Management or Healthcare Quality Assurance will be an added advantage.
