Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

Job Summary

  • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide strategic leadership and oversight for daily operations across all business units, ensuring optimal performance within the beauty services, pharmaceutical care, retail, and related divisions.
  • The role is responsible for translating the company’s vision into operational excellence by streamlining processes, driving efficiency, improving customer experience, and supporting business growth across multiple locations and service lines.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Strategy:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all business units and service divisions.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s vision, objectives, and market demands.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate performance metrics for each business unit and service line.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead expansion projects, including new branch openings and service line extensions.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

  • Manage and optimize supply chain operations for beauty products, pharmaceuticals, retail merchandise, and other operational divisions.
  • Oversee inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize operational costs and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and vendor effectiveness to ensure business continuity.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical operations and beauty services.
  • Implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality across branches.
  • Oversee quality assurance measures across all service lines to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Maintain strong audit and compliance records across all operational units.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers and operational teams across all locations.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve operational and organizational goals.
  • Drive organizational development and change management initiatives to support business growth.

Financial & Business Performance:

  • Collaborate with the CFO to align operational initiatives with financial goals and budgetary requirements.
  • Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor branch performance against KPIs, operational targets, and profitability goals.
  • Support revenue growth through operational improvements, service optimization, and cross-selling initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other operational excellence frameworks are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
  • Experience within FMCG, retail, healthcare, pharmaceutical, beauty, or multi-service organizations is strongly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and business management software.
  • Strong strategic planning, organizational management, and business development capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Sound financial management knowledge, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Expertise in supply chain optimization, inventory management, and vendor relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and beauty service industry standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and executive reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change, expansion initiatives, and process improvement programs.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
