Job Title: Logistics Officer

Location: Arepo, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a smart, proactive, and result-driven Logistics Officer who will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods, materials, and products.
• The role involves managing transportation, inventory, warehouse activities, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the movement, distribution, and delivery of goods and materials.
• Plan and schedule transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport vendors, warehouse personnel, and internal departments.
• Track shipments and ensure deliveries are completed within required timelines.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and shipment records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damaged goods, and transportation challenges.
• Monitor logistics costs and assist in cost-control initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare periodic logistics reports.
• Coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and supply chain processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management will be an added advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be between 22 - 30years old.
• Residing within or close to Arepo Ogun State is an added advantage.
• Gender: Male or Female
