Oilserv Limited is a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, installation & commissioning (EPCIC) services and complementary solutions across the asset and program life cycle within the onshore, offshore and subsea market segments of the oil and gas sector. Oilserv Limited was incorporated in 1992 and commenced operations in 1995.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Station Construction Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Key Deliverables

  • Responsible to drive, manage and participating in the execution of the complete life cycle of the execution of multiple stations on the pipeline route.
  • Interface with the sub-Contractors, Owner/PMC to enable smooth construction progress by ensuring the specifications and relevant codes and standards are followed.
  • Ensure that the project is executed with the target of net “0’’HSE incidents.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides strong and decisive project leadership and establishes an execution framework to ensure the quality, schedule, and profitability of the total project execution (EPC&I, commissioning, start-up, and operations as appropriate to the project scope).
  • Delivery of the project in accordance with the project baseline.
  • Meeting the profitability target established in the project baseline.
  • Establishes and defines the required project organization & coordinates staffing with discipline line managers.
  • Ensures accurate, comprehensive, and timely project reporting.
  • Ensures effective and timely interface management between engineering, procurement, suppliers, and construction for integration of technical content and schedule activities.
  • Ensure that organizational and statutory standards on safety are met during the entire execution cycle.
  • Develops a complete understanding of the contract and aligns further with the project manager to address contractual issues and change management.
  • Assist the site management in developing cost and schedule corrective actions/recovery plans, and ensure that needed actions/plans are implemented.
  • Establishes and maintains effective client relations that result in active cooperation, prompt payment, and stimulate the desire to award follow-on work Skill Sets.
  • Strong Leadership skills, decision-making, conflict management, and strong interpersonal skills.

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment:

  • Actively participate in driving compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies, processes, procedures, and applicable laws/legal requirements across the various SBUs.
  • Take responsibility for the health & safety and those of stakeholders across the Oilserv business.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with a Master's in Business Management (preferred).
  • Minimum 20 years' experience with a reputed organization engaged in EPC projects in the Oil &Gas field.
  • Having experience in the execution of a minimum of 2 Terminal Gas Stations.
