Job Title: Business Development Manager - Enterprise Software
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time
What You Will Do
- Visit NGO offices, hospitals, schools, and businesses to introduce our software
- Meet with Country Directors, Executive Directors, Program Managers, Finance Managers, HR Managers, and Administrators
- Demonstrate how the software solves their problems (payroll errors, donor reporting, procurement tracking)
- Follow up until contracts are signed and payment is received
- Meet monthly sales targets
- Help new clients get started with the system
- Use your contacts to get referrals and introductions.
Who We Need
You must have:
- Strong personal connections with NGO staff in Borno, Adamawa, or Yobe States (Executive/Country Directors, Finance Officers, HR Managers, Admin staff)
- 3 - 5 years experience selling services or products to organizations (not retail)
- Proven ability to close deals without waiting for customers to come to you
- Fluent in English, Hausa and other Local Languages
- Understanding of how NGOs, hospitals, and businesses in the Northeast operate
- Ability to work without daily supervision
- Willingness to travel regularly between Maiduguri, Damaturu, and other cities in the North East.
It helps if you have:
- Sold to international NGOs before
- Worked in Maiduguri, Yola, or other parts of the Northeast
- Sold insurance, banking services, or business supplies
- Contacts in NGO coordination meetings or business associations.
Work Location:
- Based in Maiduguri.
- You will travel regularly to meet clients in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States.

- Monthly salary
- Commission on every sale you close
- You continue earning commission as long as the client keeps paying (recurring income)
