It acquired and set up a cocoa product factory in Idanre for the production of Oluji Pure Cocoa Powder, Johnvents Chocolate drink, Cocoa Pops, Cocoa Cube, and other cocoa-based consumer products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift Production Supervisor – Seasoning Factory

Location: Idanre, Ondo

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities in our seasoning manufacturing plant.
• The successful candidate will ensure efficient production operations, product quality compliance, safety adherence, and effective workforce supervision to achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Production Operations:

• Supervise daily production activities to meet output targets
• Monitor machine performance and production efficiency
• Ensure proper operation of blending, cubing, wrapping, and packaging machines
• Ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials
• Ensure proper reconciliation of materials and reduction of MUV

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure products meet required quality specifications and standards
• Maintain compliance with GMP, hygiene, and food safety procedures
• Monitor product wastage and implement waste reduction initiatives
• Ensure accurate production documentation and reporting

Team Management:

• Assign tasks and monitor employee performance
• Conduct shift briefings and maintain discipline on the production floor
• Support training and development of production staff

Safety & Maintenance:

• Enforce safety regulations and proper use of PPE
• Ensure proper housekeeping and sanitation of production areas
• Report machine faults and coordinate with maintenance personnel

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support initiatives aimed at improving productivity and reducing downtime
• Monitor production performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Basic Sciences, Food Science & Technology, or related field
• 3–5 years’ relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of seasoning production processes and production operations
• Understanding of production planning, line balancing, and process optimization
• Knowledge of preventive and autonomous maintenance practices
• Strong understanding of food safety, GMP, and quality management systems
• Experience with production KPIs such as OEE, yield, waste, downtime, and efficiency
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills

Required Competencies:

• Ability to supervise production equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of reconciliation and management of MUV
• Ability to prepare production, downtime, and shift reports
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Leadership and accountability
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and integrity
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Project management capability.
