We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assister Program Officer

Location: Osogbo, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Assistant Program Officer will support the planning, coordination, implementation, and reporting of projects and community-based activities carried out by the organization.
  • The role involves working closely with the Program Officer and other team members to ensure smooth delivery of programs, proper documentation, stakeholder engagement, and timely reporting.
  • The successful candidate will also assist in field monitoring, data collection, and communication with beneficiaries, partners, and community leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of organizational projects and activities.
  • Assist in preparing work plans, activity reports, and program documentation.
  • Participate in community mobilization, sensitization, advocacy visits, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain proper records of project files, attendance sheets, and activity evidence.
  • Assist in drafting proposals, concept notes, and donor reports when required.
  • Support logistics arrangements for meetings, trainings, workshops, and outreach activities.
  • Represent the organization during field activities when assigned.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by management.
