Mosra Energy Limited Nigeria (MEL) is a well-established coal mining company with over 15 years experience in the industry. We are operating coal mines in Kogi and Delta States. In addition to our current operations, we have several other coal blocks under exploration in Nsukka/Udenu, Enugu State, Dekina LGA, Kogi State, and Ogbadibo LGA, Benue State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Facility Supervisor)

Location: Apo Legislative Quarters, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance of our facilities, including electrical systems, solar power, generators, and more.
• The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in power systems and facility operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance activities
• Manage electrical and solar power installations and maintenance
• Supervise generator operations and ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and implement corrective actions
• Ensure uninterrupted power distribution across facilities

Technical & Operational Duties:

• Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective measures
• Supervise electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Evaluate electrical loads and recommend system upgrades
• Monitor power distribution systems, generators, inverters, and solar panels

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce electrical safety procedures and industry best practices
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure HSE compliance
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company regulations

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• HND with substantial experience considered.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–8 years of practical experience in:
  • Solar power installation and maintenance
  • Generator systems and power management
  • General electrical facility maintenance
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to supervise electrical projects and teams
