Job Title: Zolon Business Development Executive

Locations: Abuja, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Kano, Jigawa, Ogun, Enugu, Ebonyi, Edo, Anambra, Cross River, Kwara, Plateau, Bauchi, Kogi
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for engaging regularly with healthcare professionals to drive awareness and support the promotion of the company’s products.
  • You will maintain a strong and up-to-date knowledge of the product portfolio, serving as a trusted source of information and building lasting professional relationships within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute an effective and objective driven call plan.
  • Utilize your customer focused selling skills in your presentations and keep post call notes to assist with pre-call planning.
  • Distribute prescriptions generating samples to healthcare practitioners following company guidelines.
  • Utilize marketing tools for maximum impact in the territory.
  • Utilize reporting tools provided to achieve territorial objectives.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Regional Manager on objectives.
  • Act as a contact between Zolon and its existing and potential markets.
  • Build business relationships with customers in the territory.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and evaluate the sales potential of existing customers.
  • Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Record sales and order information and send copies to the sales office.
  • Remain in compliance with Pharmacist council laws and regulations.
  • Attend and participate in monthly plan of action (POA) meetings (regional meetings).

Requirements

  • Graduate of pharmacy/Biological sciences from a reputable university.
  • 1 -3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Must be ready to work in any part of Nigeria.

  • Demonstrated effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work as directed.
  • Must be creative, proactive, demonstrate personal initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Have computer and technology skills, including independent ability in sending and managing email, completing internet research, performing business analytics, developing and delivering clear, well-written and grammatically correct communications, and preparing presentations.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
