Job Title: Branch Manager

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management and profitability of the branch.
• The role involves driving business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, managing staff performance, and delivering excellent customer service in line with the bank's strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
• The Branch Manager will also oversee loan portfolio quality, deposit mobilization, and risk management at the branch level.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Drive deposit mobilization and loan portfolio growth in line with set targets.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and resolution of customer complaints.
• Supervise branch staff and ensure optimal performance across all functions.
• Monitor loan applications, approvals, disbursements, and recoveries.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Prepare and submit periodic operational and financial reports.
• Manage branch risk, including credit risk and operational risk controls.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow branch profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and local stakeholders.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIBN, ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years banking experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or branch leadership role within a microfinance or commercial bank.
