Job Title: Production Head - Water Production

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Head – Water Production to lead and oversee all production operations within our water manufacturing facility.
• The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end water production activities including water treatment, bottle filling, labeling, shrink wrapping, packaging, utilities coordination, and production planning.
• This role requires a strong leader with deep technical expertise in water bottling operations, production efficiency, food safety compliance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
Production Operations Management:

• Lead and manage all water production activities from water treatment to final packaging.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, downtime, and wastage reduction.
• Coordinate production activities across all shifts for seamless operations.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and utilities.
• Optimize manpower allocation and production scheduling.
• Maintain accurate production records and operational documentation.

Water Treatment & Utilities Management:

• Supervise water treatment operations to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards.
• Monitor utility systems including generators, compressors, chillers, pumps, and air systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with engineering teams.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
• Enforce proper use of PPE across the production floor.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive initiatives to reduce downtime, operational costs, and wastage.
• Implement lean manufacturing and operational excellence strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years’ experience in water bottling or beverage manufacturing.
• At least 3 years in a production leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment systems and bottling operations.
• Sound understanding of food safety and manufacturing compliance System
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
