Job Summary
- A Driver is a person employed to drive the Hotel’s Vehicle, deliver or collect goods or mailings. Drivers must be able to endure long hours driving, carry out vehicle maintenance checks and interact with clients in a professional conduct.
- They should also practice safety and health regulations to protect themselves and other people on the road.
Key Job Roles
- Transporting guests from one place to the other. For example from airports to Hotels and vice versa.
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
- Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.
- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
- Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
- Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Updating monthly mileage records.
- Interacting with Guests in a professional manner
- Working at night and on weekends.
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
- Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
Job Requirements
- Should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- The ideal candidate must have a current drivers license and must have pass all lagos State drivers tests.
- Candidates living within Ikeja would have an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods
- Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
- Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts

- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
