Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Yaba, Lagos

About the Job

  • The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition, retention, and revenue growth by onboarding SMEs, merchants, and high-value business partners onto the Doroki platform.
  • The role requires a highly driven and relationship-oriented professional who is comfortable working in the field, engaging merchants directly, and collaborating across teams to achieve commercial objectives.

Primary Responsibilties
Commercial Growth & Revenue Management:

  • Drive achievement of sales and revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Support merchant retention and growth initiatives to maximize business performance.

Merchant Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Identify, prospect, onboard, and manage relationships with FMCG merchants, spas, supermarkets, restaurants, and other SME businesses.
  • Conduct regular field visits and sales engagements to promote Doroki’s products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and key stakeholders.

Client Support & Service Excellence:

  • Resolve merchant issues promptly and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Negotiate agreements and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience and service delivery.

Market Intelligence & Business Development:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and merchant operations to identify growth opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide insights to support strategic business initiatives.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

  • Conduct surveys, spot checks, and performance analysis on merchant activities.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on sales performance, merchant engagement, and business activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing and support teams to ensure effective branding, communication, and merchant support.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or business development
  • Proficiency in the use of sales CRM tools
  • Strong analytical and competitive market analysis skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-performance environment
  • Strong customer service orientation and relationship management skill.
