Job Title: Functional / Automation Tester (Intermediate, Specialist, and Consultant)
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and deployment processes
- Understanding of scalability, reliability, and testing standards
- Experience designing and executing automated and manual test scripts
- Understanding of defect management and quality assurance practices
- Experience validating systems against functional and non-functional requirements
- Ability to maintain automation documentation and test reports
- Experience working within testing governance frameworks
- Ability to follow secure testing and automation practices
- Understanding of auditability and testing controls
- Ability to support multiple testing initiatives and environments
- Ability to quickly onboard into new applications and technologies
- Working effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams (product, engineering, QA, business)
- Working under defined timelines and adapting to changing priorities and demand
Qualifications and Experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Business, or equivalent).
- Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- 7–15+ years of relevant professional experience, depending on role level (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant).
- Must have completed NYSC
- Experience working in enterprise-scale digital, IT, or technology environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban), and cross‑functional collaboration
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and delivery‑focused mindset.
