We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Mbarakom, Akamkpa Local Government Area, Cross River 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Pharmacy Technician plays the role of delivering safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy services.
• The role involves medication dispensing support, patient interaction, inventory control, and administrative duties, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assistin dispensing medications by accurately retrieving, measuring, counting, labeling, and packaging prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
• Provide courteousassistanceto patients and customers, including handling inquiries and over-the-counter product guidance.
• Maintainand update patient records and process prescription claims and billing documentation.
• Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, receiving deliveries, and removing expired or damaged products.
• Prepare non-sterile or sterile compounded medications (where applicable and authorized).
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and internal procedures.
• Maintaincleanliness and organization of pharmacy work areas.
• Support pharmacists in patient safety and quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician Certificate or Diploma.
• Registration with the relevant Pharmacy Technician regulatory body in Nigeria.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug classifications.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
