Job Summary

• HRLeverage Africa is recruiting for an experienced and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager for its client, a catering company.
• The ideal candidate will oversee daily kitchen and catering operations, ensure food quality and hygiene compliance, manage kitchen staff, and drive operational efficiency and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen and catering operations
• Ensure meals meet approved quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Manage kitchen staff schedules, training, and performance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper stock control (FIFO)
• Reduce wastage and track kitchen costs and expenses
• Prepare operational reports and support budget management
• Handle food-related complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering orders
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utilities

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Hospitality, Catering, Culinary Arts or related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in kitchen or catering operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience in inventory and cost control.

Salary
N350,000 – N380,000 Monthly (Negotiable based on experience)
