Job Title: Site Engineer / Site Manager (Builder / Civil Engineer)

Location:  Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Project Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a competent and result-driven Site Engineer / Site Manager to oversee renovation, remodeling, rehabilitation, and new construction projects.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and monitoring construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to approved specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings accurately.
• Quantify materials from drawings and prepare material requests.
• Manage labourers, artisans, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare work plans, methodologies, and method statements.
• Write and submit weekly site progress reports.
• Monitor timelines and ensure projects meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and approved scope.
• Maintain quality control and reduce material wastage.
• Manage human and material resources effectively.
• Coordinate procurement requirements for timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure health and safety practices are followed on site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in renovation, remodeling, rehabilitation, or new construction projects.
• Must be a Builder or Civil Engineer with practical site experience.

• Good communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
