We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent.
Reports To: Cook
About the Role
- Kitchen Assistants support the Centre's Cook in the daily preparation, serving, and clearing of meals for up to 60 students and staff, and maintain the kitchen and dining areas to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good food, prepared with care, is understood as part of the students' daily formation and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Cook in food preparation, cooking, and serving of all meals
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, dining area, and food storage facilities to high hygiene standards
- Wash and properly store all kitchen equipment and utensils after use
- Support the Cook in stock management and inventory checks
- Assist with catering for Centre events and visitors
