Job Title: Senior Security Officer 

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Part-time

About the Role

• We are seeking a disciplined, alert, and experienced Senior Security Officer to safeguard our facilities, staff, and guests on a 24-hour rotational shift basis.
• The ideal candidate that brings professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of duty to everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to company premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests are admitted.
• Conduct regular patrols of all assigned areas — interior and exterior — throughout the 24-hour shift cycle.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and disturbances.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and handover notes for each duty period.
• Enforce company policies regarding restricted areas, visitor management, and safety protocols.
• Liaise with local law enforcement agencies when necessary and escalate security threats through the appropriate chain of command.
• Support the coordination of safety procedures during events, guest check-ins, and VIP visits.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious activities to management immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of OND/SSCE; a diploma in Security Management or a related field is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a security role, preferably in a hospitality or service-oriented environment. Proven prior experience in the hospitality industry is required.
• Proven prior experience in the hospitality industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, access control, and emergency response procedures.
• Physically fit and able to remain alert throughout a 24-hour shift rotation.
• Excellent observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
• Must be of sound character with no criminal record.

 Salary
N70,000 - N90,000 per month.
