Global Ease HR Consulting and Academy - Our client, a Walk-in Fashion Retail Store, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sous Chef
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to recipe standards and presentation requirements.
- Supervise and direct the kitchen team during service.
- Conduct quality checks on all food before it leaves the kitchen.
- Ensure ingredients are correctly labelled, stored, and rotated.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate raw material requests with the Cafe Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Complete daily production and wastage logs accurately.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
- OND in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- A team player with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
