Job Title: Instrumentation & Control Facilitator

The Opportunity
- Are you a seasoned I&C Engineer with a passion for mentorship, or an experienced technical trainer looking to make a lasting industry impact?
- This role offers the unique flexibility to work on either a Full-Time or Part-Time basis, seamlessly integrating with your current professional commitments or consulting practice.
- You will serve as our subject matter expert, converting complex technical principles into highly engaging, practical learning experiences for internal teams and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development & Instructional Design: End-to-End Program Design: Architect, develop, and continuously update comprehensive training curricula, instructional materials, modules, and practical workshop frameworks focused on advanced Instrumentation & Control systems.
- Expert Facilitation: High-Impact Training Delivery: Lead dynamically engaging training sessions, workshops, and hands-on laboratory exercises for engineering professionals, technicians, and corporate clients.
- Practical Application: Real-World Case Integration: Utilize your deep domain expertise to integrate actual field scenarios, safety case studies, and standard industrial troubleshooting methodologies into the classroom.
- Competency Evaluation: Knowledge Assessment: Design and implement robust testing protocols, practical competency assessments, and performance evaluations to measure participant progress and ensure certification compliance.
- Consultancy Collaboration: Industry Alignment: Collaboratively interface with senior engineering consultants and corporate stakeholders to align training outcomes with evolving technological paradigms (e.g., Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, digital twins).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Electronics, or a closely related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of verified, hands-on field experience within the Manufacturing or Oil & Gas sectors, dealing with DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, and field instrumentation.
- Facilitation Proven Track Record: Demonstrated capability in designing technical training matrices, writing educational documentation, and confidently presenting to mid-to-senior level audiences.
- Technical Command: In-depth understanding of international engineering codes, safety protocols (HAZOP, SIL), and asset management architectures.
- Training Technologies: Fluency in modern learning management systems (LMS), interactive simulation tools, and virtual training delivery platforms.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding interpersonal communication, active listening, and class management skills.
