Job Summary
- HRLeverage Africa is recruiting for an experienced and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager for its client in the food service and hospitality industry.
- The ideal candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and hygiene compliance, manage kitchen staff, and drive operational efficiency and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations and food production
- Ensure meals meet approved quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Manage and coordinate kitchen staff schedules, training, and performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Monitor inventory, reduce wastage, and manage stock control (FIFO)
- Track kitchen costs, expenses, and operational efficiency
- Handle food-related complaints and maintain customer satisfaction
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of kitchen equipment.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Catering, Culinary Arts, or related field
- 3–5 years experience in kitchen or catering operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Experience in inventory management and cost control.

Salary
N350,000 - N380,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience).
