Job Summary

• HRLeverage Africa is recruiting for an experienced and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager for its client in the food service and hospitality industry.
• The ideal candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and hygiene compliance, manage kitchen staff, and drive operational efficiency and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and food production
• Ensure meals meet approved quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Manage and coordinate kitchen staff schedules, training, and performance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Monitor inventory, reduce wastage, and manage stock control (FIFO)
• Track kitchen costs, expenses, and operational efficiency
• Handle food-related complaints and maintain customer satisfaction
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of kitchen equipment.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Catering, Culinary Arts, or related field
• 3–5 years experience in kitchen or catering operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Experience in inventory management and cost control.

Salary
N350,000 - N380,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience).
