Responsibilities
- An experienced cleaner in a production company is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the production environment to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company standards.
- Their responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning production machines, equipment, and work surfaces.
- Removing dust, dirt, grease, and waste materials.
Maintaining Hygiene Standards:
- Ensuring sanitary conditions in production and storage areas.
- Following health and safety regulations, especially in food or pharmaceutical production companies.
- Using cleaning chemicals correctly and safely.
Waste Management:
- Collecting and disposing of waste materials properly.
- Separating recyclable and hazardous waste where required.
- Emptying trash bins regularly.
Equipment Handling:
- Operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
- Reporting faulty cleaning tools or damaged equipment.
Safety Compliance:
- Following company safety procedures and wearing protective equipment (PPE).
- Preventing contamination or accidents in the production environment.
- Reporting hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Restocking Supplies:
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning materials and toiletries.
- Keeping cleaning storage areas organized.
