Job Title: AI Engineer

Job Summary

• We are seeking an innovative and solution-driven AI Engineer to join our technology team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise healthcare applications, with a strong focus on workflow automation, intelligent search systems, and AI-powered process enhancements. This role requires strong backend development expertise, practical AI implementation skills, and the ability to identify scalable AI opportunities within healthcare systems such as Hospital Management Systems (HMS) and EMR platforms.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Integrate AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) into existing Laravel and PHP-based enterprise applications.
• Develop intelligent automation workflows, semantic search systems, NLP-driven functionalities, and AI-powered healthcare process enhancements.
• Design and implement AI-assisted features such as smart assistants, intelligent scheduling automation, transcription analysis, and contextual search capabilities.
• Collaborate with backend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to identify practical AI use cases within Hospital Management Systems (HMS), EMR platforms, and related healthcare applications.
• Build and maintain secure RESTful API integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic, and other AI service providers.
• Optimize AI workflows and backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure secure handling, processing, and storage of sensitive healthcare-related data in compliance with privacy and security standards.
• Conduct AI experimentation, testing, and model evaluations using Python and related technologies.
• Implement semantic and vector search solutions using technologies such as pgvector, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Monitor AI system performance and continuously improve intelligent features based on operational feedback and evolving business needs.
• Document AI integrations, workflows, and technical processes to support scalability and maintainability.

Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AI engineering, backend development, or AI integrations.

Required Skills
Technical Skills:

• Strong PHP and Laravel development experience.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or other Large Language Model (LLM) APIs.
• Knowledge of NLP concepts, semantic search, and vector search systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, pgvector, or related database technologies.
• Python proficiency for AI experimentation, scripting, and automation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI and API infrastructure.

Soft & Operational Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Ability to identify and implement practical AI solutions within legacy enterprise systems.
• Strong attention to system reliability, security, and performance optimization.

Industry Knowledge:

• Understanding of healthcare workflow processes and healthcare data privacy principles is highly desirable.
