We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Dedicated and customer-focused cashier with strong communication and numerical skills.
  • Experienced in handling cash transactions, processing payments accurately, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Able to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while ensuring accuracy, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Skilled in using POS systems, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer payments accurately using cash, POS, transfers, or other payment methods
  • Process sales transactions quickly and efficiently
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and correct change to customers
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balance at all times
  • Attend to customer inquiries and resolve complaints politely
  • Scan and price items correctly during checkout
  • Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and presentable
  • Record daily transactions and prepare sales reports when required
  • Follow company policies and security procedures during transactions
  • Support smooth daily store operations through excellent customer service

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of experience.
