Job Title: Senior Production Geologist
Location: Gujeni Village, Kaduna

Job Summary
- African Industries Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Production Geologist to join our mining operations team at Gujeni Mine, Kaduna.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the production geology value-chain
- Execute production planning, geological mapping, sampling, and grade control activities
- Update geological sections and 3D geological models
- Monitor crusher feed quality and ore blending
- Coordinate drilling, QA/QC compliance, and reconciliation programs
- Collaborate with mine planners, drill-and-blast teams, and processing teams
- Train and mentor junior geology staff
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
Requirements
- B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology or related Geoscience field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in production geology, preferably within iron ore operations
- Strong experience in geological modelling, orebody evaluation, mine-to-mill reconciliation, and QA/QC processes
- Proficiency in mining software such as Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog, etc.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work remotely and travel when required.
