Accountant at Universal Integrated Group

UIG is a group of companies playing in the power, oil & gas and health sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze timely financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Book Keeping: Ensure proper and up to date record through timely posting of transactions and documentation
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Compliance & Taxes: Ensure all financial practices comply with local regulations, prepare accurate tax returns, and remit all statutory deductions
• Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee ledger entries, process payroll, maintain confidential financial files, carry out banking transactions

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with at least 1 year experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or ERPs) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Others:

• Must be a female less than 40 years of age.

Salary
N150,000 - N300,000 monthly.
