We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Consultant Physician / Surgeon (Generalist Specialist)

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

The Role

• We are seeking dedicated, versatile Consultants who thrive on clinical variety and possess a passion for generalist care.
• In a secondary care environment, you won't be siloed into an ultra-narrow subspecialty.
• Instead, you will be the backbone of our clinical care, managing the acute unselected take, leading multi-disciplinary ward teams, and mentoring the next generation of medical talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care across the broad spectrum of your specialty (acute admissions, inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics).
• Participate in the department’s on-call rota to ensure robust, 24/7 emergency service delivery.
• Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and junior doctors.
• Contribute actively to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement audits.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Board Certification / Specialist Register entry (or equivalent) in your respective specialty.
• Adaptable Expertise: A strong background in general internal medicine, general surgery, or acute specialty care, with the confidence to manage a diverse mix of unselected cases.
• Team Leaders: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of leading clinical teams in high-pressure environments.
