Job Description

• We are looking for a highly strategic and analytical Arbitrage & Moat Associate to join our Vertical SaaS growth team. In this role, you will identify market inefficiencies and regulatory gaps (arbitrage opportunities) while designing and building sustainable competitive advantages (moats) for our industry-specific SaaS platforms in Fintech, Banktech, Insurtech, Lawtech, and Medtech.
• You will play a critical role in turning industry-specific challenges into long-term defensibility and profitable growth.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify regulatory arbitrage opportunities by analyzing complex legal and compliance landscapes to automate burdensome processes.
• Design deep workflow integrations that embed our SaaS platform into customers’ core operations, creating high switching costs.
• Build data moats using proprietary datasets, AI-driven insights, and feedback loops that competitors cannot easily replicate.
• Develop “wedge and layer cake” expansion strategies — using initial high-velocity products to expand into adjacent high-margin services.
• Conduct rigorous defensibility stress-testing and competitive analysis to protect against horizontal platforms and clones.
• Support financial modeling to validate unit economics and long-term scalability.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Deep vertical expertise in Fintech, Banktech, Insurtech, Lawtech, or Medtech.
• Strong strategic financial modeling skills focused on SaaS metrics (ARR, CARR, Rule of 40, unit economics).
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks (KYC/AML, HIPAA, data privacy, etc.).
• Ability to leverage AI, machine learning, and data loops as competitive moats.
• Product-led strategic thinking with a focus on margin capture and workflow automation.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
