Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager & Operations Manager to support the growth and operational efficiency of Abuja Precast Concrete Limited, a leading producer of Turkish-standard precast concrete products, including concrete blocks, paving stones, and kerb stones.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding customer base, and ensuring efficient logistics and delivery operations across project sites and customer locations.
- This role combines strategic business development with hands-on logistics coordination.
Position Overview
- The role focuses on increasing market penetration for precast concrete products while ensuring seamless movement of finished goods from production facilities to customers.
- The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, optimize distribution efficiency, and support revenue growth through structured business expansion and reliable logistics execution.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Develop and execute growth strategies for precast concrete products including blocks, paving stones, and kerb stones
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with contractors, real estate developers, and infrastructure projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify demand trends, competitor activities, and new growth opportunities
- Support pricing strategies and commercial negotiations to drive profitability and market share
- Represent the company in industry engagements, site visits, and client meetings
Logistics & Operations Management:
- Coordinate delivery of precast concrete products from production facility to customer sites
- Plan and optimize transportation schedules to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels of finished goods to align production output with market demand
- Work closely with production teams to ensure order fulfillment and delivery readiness
- Supervise logistics partners, trucks, and dispatch operations for efficient distribution
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during loading, transportation, and offloading processes
Performance & Reporting:
- Track sales performance, delivery timelines, and logistics efficiency metrics
- Prepare operational and business development reports for management review
- Recommend improvements to enhance distribution efficiency and customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing within construction, manufacturing, or related industries
- Strong understanding of construction supply chains and building materials distribution
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and coordinate logistics operations
- Excellent negotiation, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production and field-based environment
Salary
N250,000 - N400,000 monthly.
