Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Sangotedo - Ajah, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the garage, ensuring efficient vehicle repair and maintenance services.
• This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a customer-first mindset to deliver high-quality service while maintaining profitability and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily repair and maintenance activities, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs.
• Lead mechanics, technicians, and support staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
• Implement inspection protocols to guarantee repairs meet safety and performance standards.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and consumables to avoid shortages and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with service advisors to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor workshop expenses, optimize resource allocation, and drive profitability.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in the workshop.
• Introduce best practices and modern diagnostic tools to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Proficiency in workshop management systems and ERP tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
