Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise construction and real estate development projects.
• The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
• Candidates must possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive effectively for site inspections and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction and property development projects from inception to completion
• Oversee site activities, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality execution and timely delivery
• Prepare, review, and monitor project schedules, budgets, BOQs, and technical drawings
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical and operational issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
• Monitor project progress and provide detailed reports to management
• Manage project resources, materials, equipment, and timelines efficiently
• Liaise with architects, consultants, vendors, and relevant stakeholders on project execution
• Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, and handover procedures
• Drive to project sites and locations for inspections, supervision, and coordination when required

Requirements & Qualifications

• HND/B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field
• 5–10 years proven experience in construction/project engineering, preferably within the real estate sector
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site management, materials, and project execution
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and structural details
• Good understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and quality control processes
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive confidently
• Proximity to Ikeja or its environs is an added advantage.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
