Job Summary
- A Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving company growth.
- The role involves strategic planning, market research, sales development, and partnership management to increase revenue and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets
- Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients
- Develop and implement growth strategies and business plans
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term customers
- Prepare and deliver business presentations and proposals
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams
- Attend networking events, conferences, and meetings
- Track sales performance and prepare reports for management
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
