St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64-bed hospital located in Ogungbade off New Ife road in Ibadan. St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, and Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. We are registered and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health. Also, we are accredited by the NHIS as both primary and secondary health care provider.

Job Description

• St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking a responsible, energetic, and trustworthy Driver/Sales Assistant for its Sachet Water Factory operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation, sales, and distribution of sachet water products to retailers and customers while ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer relations.
• The ideal candidate must possess good driving skills, sales awareness, and the ability to maintain accurate delivery and sales records.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive and distribute sachet water products to retailers, customers, and designated locations.
• Assist in the sales and marketing of sachet water products to existing and potential customers.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and proper handling during transportation.
• Load and offload sachet water products appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and customer payments where applicable.
• Build and maintain good relationships with retailers and customers.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper care of the delivery vehicle.
• Report vehicle faults, delivery issues, or customer complaints promptly.
• Support the factory’s distribution and operational activities when required.
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and hospital/factory policies.

Education & Professional Requirements

• Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Good knowledge of road routes within Ibadan and its environs

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years and above driving experience
• Experience in product distribution or sales is an added advantage

• Basic sales and customer relationship skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and retailers
• Good record-keeping and accountability
• Physical strength and ability to handle loading/offloading activities
• Punctuality, honesty, and reliability

• Must be physically fit and medically sound
• Willingness to resume early and travel for product distribution when necessary
• Ability to maintain professionalism and good customer relations at all times
• Must be a problem solver.
