Job Summary
- The Medical/Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s pharmaceutical products to hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, healthcare professionals, distributors, and other customers within the assigned territory.
- The role involves achieving sales targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, increasing product awareness, and ensuring market penetration in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and detail the company’s pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives within the designated territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
- Conduct regular visits to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and distributors to generate orders and ensure product availability.
- Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market trends and provide feedback to Management.
- Organize product presentations, medical outreaches, and promotional activities.
- Ensure proper merchandising and visibility of company products in the market.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Follow up on customer payments and support debt recovery efforts where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and marketing campaigns organized by the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Biochemistry, or related Sciences.
- Must have 3–5 years’ experience as a Medical/Sales Representative in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, sales techniques, and territory management.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidate must be result-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
